The Peter G. Peterson Foundation's mission is to increase public awareness of the nature and urgency of key economic challenges threatening America's future. The Foundation supports innovative projects, both through grants and special initiatives that partner the Foundation with selected organizations.
Ask for a Plan
During the 2016 election season, the Peterson Foundation encouraged voters to reach out to candidates to ask them for their fiscal plans. The integrated campaign included digital, radio, and television ads. As a result, more than 80,000 tweets and emails were sent to candidates.

InDebtEd (short for "in-debt education") is a joint campaign by PGPF and MTV's campus network, mtvU, to alert college students to the personal and governmental dangers of financial irresponsibility. The program encourages students to take action to secure their futures. The campaign's aim is to empower young people to protect themselves financially and to work together to advocate government fiscal responsibility in order to change the course of the nation's future.
