Interested applicants are encouraged to research the Peter G. Peterson Foundation for examples of the kinds of initiatives and programs that the Foundation seeks to support and review our Eligibility Requirements for grants. Please carefully review the Issues & Solutions as well as the Projects & Grants sections of our site as well as our list of grants before submitting your initial inquiry.

Organizations wishing to submit unsolicited grant concepts can submit at any time an initial letter of inquiry via: inquiries@pgpf.org. Please note that the Foundation receives a high volume of requests, and we try to respond to initial inquiries with six to eight weeks of receipt.

If the Foundation determines that your inquiry meets our eligibility requirements and falls within our current funding areas, you will be contacted by our staff and asked to submit a detailed application. Please do not contact the Foundation regarding the status of your inquiry during the initial six-to-eight week review period.

Thank you for your interest in our work.
