NEW YORK — As the nation shifts its attention from the election to the major challenge posed by the upcoming Fiscal Cliff, some of the country's most influential voices on fiscal and economic issues will come together at a forum convened by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, Post Election: The Fiscal Cliff and Beyond. Held on Friday, November 16, the forum will focus on how to address the Fiscal Cliff in the context of America's long-term fiscal and economic challenges.

The forum will feature conversation and insights from top Congressional leaders, two former Fed Chairs, and other leading policymakers. Additionally, five diverse think tanks will present key recommendations for the Administration and Congress. Policy experts from the American Action Forum, the Bipartisan Policy Center, Center for American Progress, Economic Policy Institute, and The Heritage Foundation — four of which participated in last year's Solutions Initiative — will present and discuss updated plans to address the nation's long-term fiscal challenges, and strategies for dealing with the Fiscal Cliff.
